I possess no merits and my mind has thoroughly crushed me. For a sinner like me, O Lord, there is no refuge but Thy Blessed Feet. Please take me under Thy shelter. I want nothing more. Make me Thy slave, that I may be Thine and Thou mayest be mine.”

“So when Master first told me to do the meditation, I also had some difficulties. Until we take our mind to its real home, mind will never become our friend. He will bring many types of difficulties in our meditations. Looking at the materials of the world our mind has gone crazy and that is why it rebels. If you try to control any crazy man, in the beginning he will fight with you and it is very difficult. However, if you give him medicine and give him good advice, when he becomes all right, he also becomes a very good friend and he becomes grateful to you. In the same way, our mind has gone crazy looking at the materials of the world, but when we take it to its real home, it will become all right. Although it is very difficult to struggle with the mind, this does not mean that up until now nobody has controlled his mind. God Almighty sends into this world His children, His Saints, Who struggled with Their mind and became successful. Since They have struggled with Their mind and have become successful, They tell the dear ones, “If you will also work according to the instructions of the Master, if you will also take the grace of the Master and struggle with your mind, you can also control him.”
