“According the way we live our life today, we shape our future. What is today is the result of the past. What will be tomorrow is the consequence of today. So, by and by we share our destiny, therefore we have to take destiny into our hands and mould it according to the teachings of the Master.”

— Satguru Sirio Ji

“Meditating means taking our life in our hands, taking our condition in our hands. Everything is move by the thoughts, so we have to learn how to direct our thoughts, and each time we sit in meditation it’s a training for learning this process.”

— Satguru Sirio Ji

“You can only become receptive through love. The man who has love, even while sitting with thousands of people still remains all alone, because his whole attention is riveted on the Master with whom he is concerned. This is the way that you can develop receptivity.”

— Sant Kirpal Singh

“The streams of our mind and soul come onwards into our body in the way that sunshine comes to earth. It is not an easy task to change the direction of the streams of our mind and soul. It is not an easy thing to withdraw the attention of our soul from all over the body and bring it to the Eye Center. It is not the work of a few days, a few months, or a few years. It is a work which requires our total attention and complete devotion. When we are able to change the direction of the streams of our mind and soul, and when we withdraw our attention from all over the body and take our soul to the Eye Center, then we can easily see why this Creation was created, Who has created it, and how it is being run. The Mahatma who reaches this place, and sees the world from up high, understands it as no more than a playground.”

— Sant Ajaib Singh

„If we try to explain everything we won’t succeed. There are many things, which are just to be accepted the way they are, without explanation, without understanding, there just as they are. So, we have to try to be happy with the way life unfolds. It’s not always easy, very often it’s very difficult, not possible, but there is not really alternative. We can’t expect things to go the way we like in order to be happy. We have to be happy by accepting things the way they happen, the way they manifest. One thing is for sure, everything is motivated by something, everything is an effect of a cause. Therefore, no matter what happens around us, we always have to try to find our own peace within.”

— Satguru Sirio Ji

“Many people in the sangat were sitting in front of Master when He said that those who want to see God should raise their hands. Many people raised their hands. Some even raised both their hands. And then Master told them to close their eyes. Everybody closed their eyes except me, so they complained to Master that I was not closing my eyes. When Master asked me, I said, “Well, You said that those who want to see God should close their eyes. But what if one can see God without closing his eyes? I know that my Master is my God and when I am seeing You with my open eyes, then why should I close my eyes?” Master was very happy with me and He said, “Yes, you have understood my secret.”

— Sant Ajaib Singh

“The dear ones who have been blessed with the sacred boon of holy initiation into the mysteries of the beyond are all granted full protection by the gracious Master-Power in the beyond. Most of their karmic debts are paid off as if they had lived their normal fate karma. Smaller karmic debts are paid off even before leaving off the body and as such they are not reincarnated. If, however, there remain some overwhelming worldly desires, the initiated souls are granted human birth, but are placed in such congenial environments where they will have the chance of continuing their inner journey by meeting the living Master working at the time. Spiritual growth and progress thus continues under His guidance.”

— Sant Kirpal Singh

„Thinking alone does not provide the solutions to problems. If we just don’t think about things and try to keep our minds empty, trying to do Simran and meditating instead, then things resolve themselves. The moment we receive an intuition, what we have to do is revealed to us. This intuition, this revelation, doesn’t come from rational thinking, it comes from high above, and it’s always right, it’s always appropriate.”

— Satguru Sirio Ji

„If you are born into a human body, you should appreciate that very much, because man is the highest form of creation. And it is only in this form that we have the possibility of developing our consciousness, our understanding and knowledge, and of acquiring self-realization and God realization.”

— Satguru Sirio Ji

“If you go towards the Light it increases. If you go towards the darkness it also increases, because it’s in the nature of existence to expand towards the infinite. Everything tends to acquire control over everything. It’s in the nature of things, so we should be very careful about what we do, which direction we take in life.”

— Satguru Sirio Ji

“One must be in the world attending to the duties and obligations assigned to him or her, but one should do these in a very detached manner.”

— Sant Kirpal Singh

„The reality of this world is what it is; nobody can change it; these are Divine laws, which are working in creation, whether we like them or not, they are perfect!“

— Satguru Sirio Ji

“To get the full benefit of the Master Power, the disciple must develop receptivity. It is impossible to develop receptivity until implicit obedience is given to the commandments of the Master.”

— Sant Kirpal Singh

“The main driving force in human reality it is the mind. The mind creates everything. According to the way we think, we shape our reality. The way we observe reality according to the way we think; creates a corresponding objecting reality. So, it’s very important to be aware what we think, because we become what we think and our reality will become the way we think. That’s why the enlightened Masters, the realized Masters tell us you keep thinking about the Supreme Reality’s qualities by repeating those names or try to think of nothing if it’s possible.”

— Satguru Sirio Ji

“In order to become successful in Sant Mat love, faith and devotion are needed the most. All these three things are equally important and they all lead us to the same thing. The disciple of Sant Mat should always have these three things in him if he wants to become successful in the Path of the Masters. The other thing that is required the most in order to be successful on the Path is that the disciple should always go on doing the Simran. He should be doing the Bhajan and his Dhyan should also always be there. All these three things should always be happening within the disciple and only then can one become successful in the Path of the Masters.”

— Sant Ajaib Singh

“When love for the Master transcends all bounds, the devotee feels as if he were one with the Master. The Master then appears to be working through him and he is in the Master.”

— Sant Kirpal Singh

“Sir, can you give us an example of a good prayer?” the Muslim gentleman asked. In reply the Great Master (Hazur Baba Sawan Singh) said, “If I were to pray, I would pray as follows: ‘My Lord! I am ignorant, I do not know what to ask of you. Give me that which you think best for me. And give me the strength and wisdom to be happy about what you deem fit to give me and about how and where you keep me. I have no virtues, no devotion. My actions are all dark and sinful. I possess no merits and my mind has thoroughly crushed me. For a sinner like me, O Lord, there is no refuge but Thy Blessed Feet. Please take me under Thy shelter. I want nothing more. Make me Thy slave, that I may be Thine and Thou mayest be mine.”

— Hazur Baba Sawan Singh Ji

“So when Master first told me to do the meditation, I also had some difficulties. Until we take our mind to its real home, mind will never become our friend. He will bring many types of difficulties in our meditations. Looking at the materials of the world our mind has gone crazy and that is why it rebels. If you try to control any crazy man, in the beginning he will fight with you and it is very difficult. However, if you give him medicine and give him good advice, when he becomes all right, he also becomes a very good friend and he becomes grateful to you. In the same way, our mind has gone crazy looking at the materials of the world, but when we take it to its real home, it will become all right. Although it is very difficult to struggle with the mind, this does not mean that up until now nobody has controlled his mind. God Almighty sends into this world His children, His Saints, Who struggled with Their mind and became successful. Since They have struggled with Their mind and have become successful, They tell the dear ones, “If you will also work according to the instructions of the Master, if you will also take the grace of the Master and struggle with your mind, you can also control him.”

— Sant Ajaib Singh

“I would rather have a handful of disciples, nay even one, who can sacrifice their ego on the spiritual altar and learn to live by love, than millions who understand not the value and meaning of these virtues.”

— Sant Kirpal Singh

“There is nothing in this world which we can say is equal to the meditation of Naam. Only those who meditate on Naam get high status, and only those who merge themselves into Naam get liberation.”
